Peter Heimer organised the floor plan for a new apartment in a modular complex in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district for his client, fashion designer Grit Seymour, and was responsible for the interior design.

The apartment is fully glazed on two sides and surrounded by a gallery.

The central element of the flat is a freestanding block clad in oak, which houses two bathrooms inside and defines the kitchen and living areas on its outer sides.

The design is based on the room block in Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House, and the materials used are oak and travertine.

In the living area, the custom-made sofa is framed by a niche with a reading lamp and a side bookcase.
